DLT Receives Volunteer Employer Recognition Award
"There is nothing stronger than a heart of a volunteer" – James Doolittle
Delta Drone International (Now RocketDNA) recently received a Volunteer Employer Recognition Award from the Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) in Western Australia (WA).
The award was given during the 2022 Department of Fire and Emergency Services Volunteer Employer Recognition Awards (VERA) this month in appreciation of the company’s support of DLT CFO and volunteer, Paul Williamson.
Paul, a volunteer fire fighter, is one of more than 26 000 volunteers in WA who dedicate their time to fire and emergency services in the state.
DLT is proud to provide a flexible working arrangement which allows volunteers like Paul to respond to emergencies during working hours.
“DLT is incredibly proud to be able to support volunteers like Paul”, explains DLT CEO, Christopher Clark, “They are a critical part of the culture of WA and Australia in general; they hold values of service, commitment and bravery - we are honoured to have him as part of our team.”
